Bob L. Mayberry - President
Cottonwood
Mr. Mayberry joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1977, and has been a member in the Cottonwood exchange where he has farmed since 1960. He and his wife, Jo Ann, have three children, bob Evans of ARtesia, Kay McKamey of Artesia, and Jo Beth Northrup of Ennis, Montana.

Mike G. Casabonne - Vice President
Hope
Mr. Casabonne joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1984. He has been a lifelong rancher in the Hope area. Mike and his wife Dwanna have been blessed with one son, Kellen who is a Senior at NMSU and one daughter, Kami of Blue Ridge, TX.

Peggy L. Bell - Secretary
Loco Hills
Ms. Bell joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1988. She retired fro I&W, Inc. in 1992 after 32 years. Peggy has two daughters; Peggy Anderson of Tularosa and Bobbie Ann Ray of Melrose; two sons; Freddie Malone of Bartersfield, OK and Ron Malone of Roswell. She has also been blessed with eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth F. Mahill - Treasurer
Mayhill
Ms. Mayhill joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1988. Beth retired from the US Forest Service in 1988 after 29 years of service. She has one son, Bill Vreeke of Albuquerque and two daughters; Kay Woltering of Albuquerque and Lenette Dark of Tularosa.

Sam M. Elkins
Mayhill~At-Large
Mr. Elkins joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1993. He has owned and operated a working cattle ranch in Dunken, NM for 37 years. Sam and his wife Jeannie have 2 sons, Alden of Dunken, NM, and Randy of Artesia, along with one daughter, Shawna Smith of Houston, TX.

Mr. Kincaid joined PVT's Board of Directors in 2002. He is a rancher in the Hope/Piñon area. Marc and his wife Tammy have a 4 year old son, Cole

Roxanne Sallee
Cottonwood~At-Large
Ms. Sallee joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1999. She has worked for Yates Petroleum Corp. for 18 years. She is married to Don Sallee and has three sons; Joby of Roswell, Jeremy of Artesia and Joshua, who will graduate in May with a Masters in horticulture.

Frank L. Sisneros
Hondo
Mr. Sisneros joined PVT's Board of Director's in 1995. He has worked for NMDA/USDA; Wildlife Services for 17 years. Frank and his wife Donna have two sons; Justin, 1st Lieutenant in the Texas National Guard and Tyler who will graduate in May from Texas Tech.

J.S. Waldrip
Lakewood
Mr. Waldrip joined PVT's Board of Directors in 1994, after retiring from farming and ranching in 1985. He and his wife Wanda have 3 children; Jan Cheadles, Randy Waldrip, and Bruce Waldrip.

Per Article IV of the Peñasco Valley Telephone Coop, Inc. By Laws:
SECTION 1. General Powers. The business and affairs of the Cooperative shall be managed by a board of nine directors which shall exercise all of the powers of the Cooperative except such as are by law, the Articles of Incorporation or these Bylaws conferred upon or reserved to the members.
SECTION 2. Election and Tenure of Office: For the purpose of geographically distributing the members of the Board of Directors, six districts are hereby created:
- The area served by the Cottonwood Exchange
- The area served by the Hondo Exchange
- The area served by the Hope Exchange
- The area served by the Lakewood Exchange
- The area served by the Loco Hills Exchange
- The area served by the Mayhill Exchange
One director to be elected from each district and three directors to be elected at large, with no more than two directors elected from any one of the six areas.
Directors shall be elected by secret ballot unless there is no one nominated in opposition and the director is thereupon elected by acclamation and shall hold office for a term of three years. A director shall be elected for three years or until their successors shall have been elected and shall have qualified, with the following exceptions:
In the event there are not enough members present at any annual meeting to constitute a quorum, the incumbent directors whose terms of office are expiring shall be automatically re-elected.
SECTION 3: Qualifications to be Nominated, to Become, or Remain a Director. Any member shall be eligible to be nominated, elected and remain a director of the Cooperative who:
a). Resides in the geographic area from which he or she is elected, and has resided there for more than two hundred and forth (240) days during the last twelve (12) month period.
b.) Is NOT an employee of the Cooperative who has been employed within two hundred and forth (240) days or has a financial interest in a competing enterprise or business engaged in selling communication services or communication supplies or maintaining communication facilities.
c.) Is NOT closely related to an incumbent director or an employee of the Cooperative. As used here, "closely related" means a person who is related to the principal person by consanguinity or affinity, to the third degree or less, and includes grandparents, parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, by blood, by marriage, by adoption or by step-relationship, and spouses of any of the foregoing. However, no incumbent director shall lose eligibility to remain a director or to be re-elected as a director if he becomes a close relative of another incumbent director or of a Cooperative employee because of marriage to which he was not a party. Neither shall an employee lose eligibility to continue in the employment of the Cooperative if eh or she becomes a close relative of a director because of marriage to which he or she was not a party.
