Since 1995, PVT has participated in the Foundation for Rural Services Youth Tour to Washington, DC. This tour is for high school juniors from across the US. There are 110 students selected to receive this Washington experience June 2 thru June 6, 2007.
PVT’s Board of directors interviews the students that are submitted from the 14 high schools within our service area. The board makes the final decision based on the application, recommendation and student’s interviews.

John Brock was selected to be the Youth Tour student for 2007. His mother, D’De Brock and Cloudcroft school councilor, Dawn Provencher signed all the consent forms. 4
Leah Williams, Artesia High School councilor will be serving as the PVT chaperone. Leah was also selected by nominations from the high schools submitting student applications.
