We have been informed of an error that recently affected how subscribers access the Stingray mobile app. This issue occurred after Stingray integrated advertising into their app to help maintain and improve the quality of their service. Unfortunately, this update also changed the app’s opt-in process, which is why some subscribers could not find our company name in the TVE provider selection list.
What does this mean for you?
When downloading the Stingray Music app, you may now see a message inviting you to keep listening for free. After selecting “Continue,” you’ll go through a few onboarding slides before you can skip and access the service. Please note that ads will now play between songs for standard users.
To make up for this disruption, Stingray is offering 6 months of Stingray Music Premium (ad-free) at no cost to current Stingray Music subscribers.
