Mia Aragon
Mia AragonAdministrative Department
Mia is eager to improve her communication skills and work with professional businesses. She hopes to learn more about professionalism to help her with her Journalism and Media Degree. Currently anchoring for NMSU’s news station, Mia wants to go into Public Relations. She expects the internship to help her build connections and enhance her resume by working with different kinds of people within the company. Her dream job, if money didn’t matter, would be owning a flower shop and becoming a florist.
Rodrigo del Cid
Rodrigo del CidMarketing Department
Rodrigo, from Honduras, is eager to understand himself better, identifying his strengths and weaknesses to become a better professional. With a focus on improving his communication skills, Rodrigo feels that the projects he’s been assigned are helping him achieve this goal. Additionally, he expects to learn more about the telecommunications industry and PVT. Rodrigo’s dream job is to work in his parents’ auto parts company, and this internship is a great start in gaining the business and marketing knowledge he needs to make this dream a reality. His older brother already works for the family company, and Rodrigo is excited about joining him in the future.
Derik Grantham
Derik GranthamIT and Networking Department
Derik is excited to learn about the hardware systems and everything that makes PVT work. He hopes to gain more confidence in his abilities and feels that this internship is perfect for helping him achieve that. Passionate about tech, Derik expects the internship to teach him hands-on skills and how to work in a professional environment. His dream job is to make things, learn new skills, and teach others his learning process.
Axel Hartley
Axel HartleyEngineering Department
Axel is looking forward to the experience he will gain while working “with a bunch of cool guys.” He is particularly interested in learning about line safety and is pursuing a career as a lineman. Axel believes that this internship will give him a foot in the door, helping him reach out to other companies and create an advantage in the job sector. His dream job? Becoming a Snapper in the NFL.
Cali Peterson
Cali PetersonAdministrative Department
Cali is looking forward to getting to know people, building connections, and experiencing office work for the first time. With no previous office experience, she is excited to learn from her colleagues this summer and grow in professional relationships. Interested in a business degree, Cali expects the internship to prepare her for a real-world environment and shape her future goals. If money didn’t matter, her dream job would be working with animals at an animal shelter full of dogs.
