PVT would like to inform our video customers of a change coming to The Weather Channel.
The Weather Channel has announced that it will no longer provide Local on the 8’s weather segments to small cable providers. Because this decision applies nationwide to providers our size, local weather updates previously shown during those segments will no longer be available on our system.
Going forward, those time slots will feature weather information from larger regional and national markets. All other Weather Channel programming will remain unchanged.
We understand that many customers enjoyed the local weather updates, and we share your disappointment. Unfortunately, The Weather Channel made this programming change, and it is beyond PVT’s control.
